Prabowo's Aid for Disaster Victims in Central Sulawesi

"Pak Prabowo will also see and monitor the progress of the distribution of aid from the Gerindra party to the victims of the disaster," said Abdul Karim Aljufri, Member of the Prabowo-Sandi National Winning Body (BPN).
Abdul assessed, after post-disaster hit Central Sulawesi, Prabowo had ordered all his party candidates to go down and contribute to the victims of the Central Sulawesi disaster. "So his presence was also to see the development of the distribution of aid provided by the Gerindra Party to the victims," he said.
Abdul said, a few days after the disaster in Central Sulawesi, the Gerindra Party built a public kitchen to entertain 2000 food packages per day for disaster victims. Construction of the public kitchen was followed by the provision of 24 refugee tents as a place of residence for the victims temporarily. The refugee tent occupied by the residents of Mpanau village, Sigi, is now given the name "Garuda Yaksa Camp".
The Gerindra Party also set up public toilets (MCK) for disaster victims in the area. According to Abdul, until now the victims of the disaster are still struggling to receive clean water because of the natural disaster.
"Those who live in the refugee camps of the Garuda Yaksa camp are currently 56 families, consisting of 196 people. Those who live there are victims of earthquakes, tsunamis and liquefaction coming from several villages in the area of Palu City, Donggala Regency and Sigi Regency, "Abdul concluded.
